Hammondbeat Review

Now, Hammondbeat is a site we have been admiring from the the get-go. So when they have got something to say, we tend to listen very carefully. Especially when it is about our new record. We couldn’t have been happier with their review:

“Soul-Jazz-Funk-Boogaloo-Groove: the 5 elements of the Hammond-odic table…The Rare Groove Orchestra (rgofunk.com) manage to squeeze all of this on paper, setting aural expectations high, high, high.  Only 32 minutes to break your resolve, they beautifully overstuff the disc with that old-school production that the cool kids demand. [...] …a very big “little” record.”

Reviews, more Reviews

We are not the kind of band to emphasize our successes all the time, but our first album has been getting some damn good reviews, which we would like to share with you! Check the first batch of links & quotes on the Press Page, check the new (unfortunately just Dutch language) reviews online:

KindaMuzik review: “From the first to the last note, your adrenaline level will be maximized by tight beats, fuzzy licks and the fat sound of Hammond. [...] One of the best remedies against dark and depressing winter nights.”

File Under review: “A splashing groove-funk formation… [...]…screaming tracks, played with great balance. [...] Felix Faassen knows how to bring the house down with his screaming Hammond organ.”
